Ethical Hacking Code Camp – Cagayan de Oro

DevCon CDO will be holding a Code Camps this October 7, 2017, 1:00PM-5:00PM. Code Camps is a free workshop that aims to discuss and practice the participants' knowledge on certain technological topics. This workshop will feature Ethical Hacking with Mr. Json Solana, a Computer Programmer and System Administrator at Oroport Cargo Handling Services Inc., as the speaker.
Ethical Hacking is a term used to to describe hacking performed by a company or individual to help identify potential threats on a computer or network. An ethical hacker attempts to bypass system security and search for any weak points that could be exploited by malicious hackers. This information is then used by the organization to improve the system security, in an effort to minimize or eliminate any potential attacks.

1. The Code Camps workshop is free, no payment is needed. All we require is for you to register and to show up on the day of the event. Do remember, slots are limited and we would like to have everyone participate as much as they can.
2. The workshop is open to anyone who is interested to learn Ethical Hacking.
3. Participants are required to bring their own computers for the workshop, as these will be used for the activities. Also, extension wires and own wifi if possible.
