The IBM-DevCon Techpreneurship Talks are a series of town halls in various university campuses among business and computer science students. The series highlight successful entrepreneurs and the technology that drives their business. The talks allow our featured businessman the opportunity to inform and interact with the emerging crop of techpreneurs and inspire them to take "the leap".
Winston Damarillo is the founder of Developers Connect Philippines. He is a proven serial entrepreneur with a track record of building successful technology start-ups. His past entrepreneurial endeavors include several companies which Winston grew to profitability and subsequently sold to major IT players: Gluecode Software, an open source application infrastructure company which was acquired by IBM in 2005, Logicblaze, acquired by Iona Technologies in 2007, and Webtide, acquired by Intalio in 2009. Winston is the chairman of the board of directors for Exist Software Labs and MaestroDev.
